90’s style is still a hit in the fashion sector, but it’s not something we want to see so much in the kitchen. This 90’s-style kitchen featured soffit, tiled worktops, a peachy-coloured scheme and a mix and match of integrated appliances. Then, in came Studio McGee… the design team totally transformed the space, beginning by gutting the room and deciding on a classic, neutral palette – including a light, warm grey to finish the cabinetry, a bright white worktop and a splashback crafted from a solid white material with a metro tile-like pattern.

To create a kitchen which is both practical and pretty, the team used a combination of Kohler products, including a farmhouse-style sink and a nickel-finished tap and pot filler. Ceiling height wall-hung cabinetry provides plentiful storage space, while the small glass inserts in the top lighten their aesthetic – ensuring the large cabinetry doesn’t appear too heavy and negatively dominate the kitchen.
