In this recent episode of My Houzz, renowned hip hop music star ‘Ludacris’, Chris Bridges, shows his softer side by planning a sweet surprise, with an entire renovation of his mother Roberta’s home in Atlanta.
The house itself is known to be the first property Chris bought after becoming the commercially successful hip hop star and rapper ‘Ludacris’. Chris used Houzz’s in-built tools to find Atlanta-based interior designer Rachel Oliver of Rachel Oliver Design; the trio of Chris, wife Eudoxie and designer Rachel worked around the clock to transform the dated interiors of Chris’ mother’s home.
The renovations resulted in a truly sophisticated scheme, with the arguable ‘star of the show’ being the modern, open plan kitchen. The kitchen includes an incredible amount of detail and personalised touches, including an innovative pull out step – with a façade that matches the cabinetry – to allow Roberta to reach the highest cupboards and appliances, easily.
