Sarah Gibson, interior designer and the face behind the Room for Tuesday blog undertook an important challenge – creating a perfect contemporary kitchen for her best friends Dru and Brooke. With the pressure on to get everything exactly right for these exacting clients, Sarah turned to Caesarstone to provide a perfect solution for pretty yet durable work surfaces that would withstand both the couple’s pet dog and a future family life. The quartz surfaces are shown in a London Grey colouration, while Sarah designed a beautiful waterfall edge – which runs down the side of the darker cabinetry, protecting both the cabinetry from scuffs and their little pup from any sharp stone or wood edges.

The final look of the kitchen encompasses a gorgeous monochromatic palette, with deep black cabinetry and butler-style sink and crisp white wall-hung cabinets and high-shine metro tiles for the main wall.

Take a look at Sarah’s sophisticated design and be inspired…
