Smeg has launched its brand-new trade showroom and training facility the ‘Atrium’

The facility was launched at Smeg’s recent Nuovo Vista trade event, which hosted over 100 customers at its Oxford HQ. The Magna building’s Atrium has been transformed into a 14,000sq ft showroom facility designed to showcase a wide selection of models to Smeg’s trade customers, and houses over 300 products laid out by aesthetic range.

The Atrium is light and spacious, mirroring that of Smeg’s recently-opened London store. A large ‘Living Kitchen’ has been designed for hands-on learning, complete with demonstration facilities and the opportunity to work with Smeg products. With ‘Bake-off’ style work benches you can choose whether to get really stuck in or admire from the seating area. A dining area also allows you to taste your creations! Meanwhile, a conference suite houses 60+ people and can be used as a demonstration theatre, meeting space or boardroom with full AV system for presentations.

Speaking of the Atrium’s grand opening, Smeg UK managing director Mike Giddings said: “We are thrilled to expand our Abingdon HQ at a crucial time for the brand, following the recent launch of our London Store. The showroom will aid us in presenting our products to customers and trade in the best light, based out of our very own headquarters.”
