New displays are now on show at DeVOL’s Clerkenwell showroom at Tysoe Street, London. The star attraction is the Sebastian Cox kitchen, fitted out in a basement space which the company suggests is very similar to the scenario in which many clients will be looking to install their new kitchens.
Natural daylight shines through to the basement through glass pavement slabs above, highlighting the twin copper sinks and ‘Mayan’ Aged Brass taps. The simple main run of furniture is finished with honed Carrara marble worktops, which contrast perfectly with the rough sawn timber cupboard fronts stained with ‘Inky Blue-Black’ dye.
The new kitchen also features the first Sebastian Cox Island, which houses two integrated ovens and two domino hobs side by side. The unusual mixed material worktop is half classic prime oak and half luxurious aged copper.
A glazed pantry cupboard with delicate woven back panels displays samples of the new range of hand-printed ceramic tiles that DeVOL has produced with its sister company Floors of Stone.
