As spring is the time of new beginnings, the Molteni Group showroom opening, on the 4th April, was impeccable timing. The 1,300 square metre space is arranged over two floors, with 600 square metres dedicated to showcasing Dada’s kitchen collections.
The main architectural features of the design include wooden flooring and black oak panelling, with complementary grey shades incorporated throughout, while the wooden ceiling beams – which cleverly match the flooring – blur the divide between the living and kitchen sections, to merge the showroom into one area, much as like a real home is.
The Dada kitchen area will include a large VVD kitchen island, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, combined with Pivot columns and Bright tempered glass wall unit. The central area of the space is dominated by two VVD suspended islands, in a Walnut finish and featuring a Green Porphyry worktop. Alongside this, the Banco, Hi-Line6, INDada, Tivali and Trim collections will be available to view within the new flagship store.
If ever in Milan, taking a trip to Molteni&C and Dada will be a worthwhile detour.
