Bulthaup has opened a new showroom in the ancient Cathedral city of St Albans, Hertfordshire.
The showroom concept in George Street was created in close collaboration with Bulthaup’s corporate architects in Germany, and combines all the characteristics of the 16th century building’s traditional timber beams and wooden floor with Bulthaup’s contemporary minimalism.
A combination of the Bulthaup b2 workbench and a wall-hanging Bulthaup b3 kitchenette in aluminium sandbeige provides an eye-catcher in the window display, which looks out onto George Street’s historic buildings.
A central Bulthaup b3 kitchen in laminate anthracite is fully working and will serve for future cooking events to be held in the showroom, whilst a communication area has been created using the Bulthaup b3 table in walnut, complemented by a sideboard and shelving display in black-brown structured oak and soft touch lacquer. To the rear of the showroom, a Bulthaup b1 in alpine white lacquer suggests a planning solution for customers with limited space.
Showroom manager and CEO of Romeland Interiors, Clinton Lawrence, along with Bulthaup’s Export Sales Director Roland Spieth, were joined by more than 60 guests at the showroom’s recent opening event.
