Big, blue and beautiful – would you have this monolithic ocean blue island in your kitchen?

Inspired by its picturesque, sunny location of Clearwater, Florida, this bespoke kitchen is based around a central island in a beautiful Ocean blue finish.

Officine Gullo cleverly mixed traditional design elements – including a sizeable, shapely ceiling-fitted extractor – with a contemporary, neutral palette, large format floor tiles and polished white metro tiles on the far wall. Blurring contemporary and traditional styles ensures that the kitchen is stylistically timeless, while the neutral palette allows the large island to stand centre stage.

This kitchen island is crafted from a thick steel frame, which is finished in a rich Ocean blue hue and boasts burnished brass details. With a body over two metres in length, and topped with a worktop of burnished steel, this island features a mass amount of preparation space, while an integrated six-ring hob, pasta cooker and two built-in ovens provide all the essential cooking elements.

The opposite side of the island features an integrated sink and single-lever mixer tap in a burnished brass finish, which neatly matches the bass detailing on the island and extractor hood. A multitude of drawers and storage compartments reside on the lower half of the island, while the structure is completed with a professional bell-shaped hood, that boasts LED lighting and adjustable speed.
