This week’s #ThrowbackThursday is dedicated to Lori Carroll, of Lori Carroll & Associates, who was honoured at last year’s Designer Award ceremony with the accolade for International Design of the Year.
Taking the award for her stunning and alluring powder room project, Lori Carroll’s design featured a multitude of opulent additions, including a myriad of rich hues and a glass bead wall covering!
However, the decadence didn’t stop there; as well as the speciality paint-finished walls, the design boasted hand-formed angle cut crystal rods, which were infused with mineral crystalline to create a spectacular display over the bathroom’s vanity unit.
Nearby, another level of lighting provided a feeling of depth within the design, as it illuminated the polished onyx countertop and glass sink from underneath; simply elevating the natural veining of the stone, as well as the amber radiance of the vessel itself.
Creating a lighting plan is important in any bathroom where natural light is not an option, however, few are able to accomplish a design as sophisticated and as soothing as Lori Carroll’s award-winning scheme.Lori Carroll & Associates | loricarroll.com
