It’s that time of the week again, it’s #ThrowBackThursday.
Rewind back to 2015 when Lisa Morgan of Morgan McDonnell Architecture won the award for Bathroom Design of the Year 2015 (Under £15k)
The bathroom was part of a residential development by Queensberry Properties. The development sits within the traditional stone walls of a former demolished telephone exchange and consists of 81 units over three phases. This particular project is located within a 4-bedroom townhouse in the first phase of the development.
Morgan designed the interior fit out of the spaces including bathrooms, kitchens and the selection of finishes to all major areas. A feeling of luxury and spaciousness were to be the key features of the fit out. The first thing you notice on entering the room is the soft curved form of the Mozzano limestone bath by Victoria and Albert, with floor mounted Hansgrohe tap which provides generous space for relaxed bathing and is located at the end of the room, in front of the large floor-to-ceiling window.
Striving for a luxurious feel, the project certainly achieved that, creating a well-considered design with broad appeal.
