We speak to Paul Jenkinson, MD at LochAnna Kitchens about his career, design ethos and more…

What is your job role and what made you choose a career in design?

I’ve been Managing Director of Faith Furniture Company which owns the LochAnna brand since I set the company up in November 2014, having previously been Managing Director at Mark

Two, a K&B supplier to all retail sectors. Like most people my career has evolved throughout my education I enjoyed design and creativity, I’ve been drawn towards what I enjoy and dare I say, am good at.

What is the best part of your job?

Conceptualising and delivering products that help my customers stand out in a congested market. Designing photography, imagining customers using the kitchens we create.

What is the toughest part of your job?

Looking for the next trend and focusing on details isn’t 9-5, it’s a lifestyle.

Which designer/product/ building most inspires your work and why?

The Shard –
functional and stunning.

What have you been your favourite projects so far?

Evolving the LochAnna brand has been truly amazing. Set designs for our new Washington and Profile ranges were really engaging showcasing them in a brochure, then seeing them come alive in consumers’ homes.
