Smeg appoints new manager ahead of its UK store opening in September

Smeg UK has announced the appointment of Ben Staniforth as manager of its new flagship store, opening in London, September 2017.

Ben Staniforth will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the new Regent Street store and help to drive greater brand awareness in the heart of London. He will also oversee the brand’s concession in renowned luxury store, Harrods. 

Staniforth comes to the company with over 10 years of experience in the consumer electronics sector, including roles managing flagship stores and wider regional areas for Bang & Olufsen. As his newly appointed role, Staniforth promises to apply his wealth of industry knowledge to provide excellent leadership, while developing his colleagues to further maximise the company’s investment in the store and its offering.

Commercial Director of Smeg, Jill Ashford, commented: “we are delighted to welcome Ben to the team at such a momentous and exciting time of development for Smeg amidst the opening of our brand-new store on Regent Street. The hotly-anticipated grand opening of Smeg’s London store is on 14th September at 14 Regent Street, St James’s.
