RAK Ceramics introduces their new five-strong contracts team within its projects department

RAK Ceramics has established a new contracts team within its expanding projects department.

The new team of five includes Scott Adams and Jess Paddock from within the company, and Ben Bryden, David Ralph-Bates and Mark Chatfield who joined RAK earlier this year. The team will work with RAK’s growing project portfolio, and tile and sanitaryware specification in new commercial markets.

Both Scott and Jess will be taking on project coordinator roles within the team. Scott, who has been with RAK for ten years, progressed to showroom management, before taking on an internal account manager role. He will now utilise his technical and design experience within the new team. Jess, who joined two years ago, moved into projects last summer. She is currently studying the PRINCE2 foundation course and will help spread the new project dynamics across RAK Europe.

Recruited to take up a strategic leadership role within the team, Ben brings 19 years’ industry experience in the project and specification sector, both domestic and international. He has previously headed teams for the Sanipex Group, Villeroy & Boch and Kohler Corporation.

David Ralph-Bates joins as national projects manager. David started his career as an apprentice joiner, before establishing a shop-fitting business. Hethen moved into sales, within the construction and energy sector, and was previously regional sales manager at Nicholls & Clarke.

Mark Chatfield completes the team, having worked within the tile and sanitaryware sector for 12 years. Mark joins RAK from Capitol Tile Group and CTD Ltd, and will be a project manager within the team.
