Kitchens International has recently expanded its team with the appointment of two new Showroom Managers, two Sales Designers and a new Design Technician. With a successful year to date for kitchen sales, the company is consolidating its position as the leading independent kitchen retailer in the UK.
At the Dundas Street studio, Angus Mackintosh (featured, right) has been appointed as Sales Designer. Having read Furniture and Product Design at Edinburgh College of Art, Mackintosh went on to work for design house, EKCO, and was later awarded KBSA’s ‘Young Designer of the Year 2016’ title. Moving on from his impressive early successes, Mackintosh is delighted to now be working for such a design-led company and for clients who are passionate about kitchens.
In Aberdeen Richard Stephen (featured, left) has been promoted to Showroom Manager. Having been with Kitchens International for over 11 years, Stephen has worked in installations, design and project management before this promotion. Stephen said: “I am really thrilled to be involved with the Aberdeen design team again and working towards producing the kind of exciting and innovative kitchen concepts that Aberdeen has become known for in recent years.”
Ian Goodbrand joins KI as the Glasgow Showroom Manager with over 30 years’ kitchen experience across a wide range of market places, and varying roles. Goodbrand’s knowledge and standing in the Glasgow marketplace, makes him the perfect candidate to carry on the fabulous work that the Glasgow team have done over the past few years.
In KI Tillicoultry, Lynsey Jamieson has taken up the new role of Sales Designer to meet the growing workload while Callum Clark joins the team as a Design Technician.
