Julie McLean has been appointed as UK Marketing Director of Hansgrohe UK, and will head up the new team of five marketers. With over 13 years’ experience in the heating and plumbing industry, gained at Wolseley and then as Marketing Director at Redring Xpelair, McLean brings a wealth of experience and an ability to drive brand growth.
Overseeing the marketing strategy, to help further the Hansgrohe UK business, she will support Hansgrohe’s established retail sector and increase focus on the ever-growing project business.
Speaking of her new role, McLean said, “I have always admired the Hansgrohe Group, their forward thinking, great design and innovative products have kept them at the forefront of the industry. I’m hugely excited to be part of the Hansgrohe UK team, to be able to lead and drive two exceptional brands, AXOR and Hansgrohe.”
The second new team member is Anand Gandesha, who joins Hansgrohe UK as Head of Digital & Marketing Communications. Gandesha has a strong consumer background, previously working with brands such as Samsung, Tetley Tea, Cobra beer and Coca-Cola. His insight, communications experience and brand building expertise will be crucial in helping the AXOR and Hansgrohe brands further develop and flourish.
The third addition to the team is Lucy Wall, who joins Hansgrohe UK as Channel Marketing Manager. Wall started her career as a Graduate Trainee with Milwaukee and progressed to Trade Marketing Manager. Lucy’s focus is to provide marketing support to Hansgrohe’s retailer and merchant network around the UK and further develop customer intimacy.Hansgrohe | hansgrohe.co.uk
