Graham Horton, sales manager, retires after spending 28 years with Blum UK

One of Blum UK’s longest serving sales managers, Graham Horton, has retired after 28 years and 10 months with the company.

Horton, a well-known and respected industry figure, was originally employed by Blum UK in the late 1980s and has seen the company grow from 4 employees to over 60. He joined the company after a few years with Hygena, as well as a kitchen fitting company, until finally settling into his working career with Blum.

Commenting on his time with the company, Horton remarked “Through all my years at Blum I have always held firm to one belief, people buy from people not from companies, and I always treated people as I would want to be treated myself; I like to think it worked.”

Colleagues and customers celebrated Horton’s landmark event with a retirement party in Milton Keynes, whereby current Blum UK staff, the MD of Blum Austria, and Gerhard Blum all attended to hail such a well-esteemed colleague and friend.
