The world’s leading provider of sanitary fittings GROHE keep quiet for the second year running.

The world’s leading provider of sanitary fittings GROHE have been recognised for the second year running by the Quiet Mark Scheme for their Rapid SL flush system.

The Quiet Mark Scheme work with brands, consumers and the Government to drive awareness and reduce noise-related issues. The characteristic purple Quiet Mark symbol is awarded following extremely thorough, careful testing and approval from accredited acoustic experts.

After gaining the quiet mark symbol on the Rapid SL WC flush system GROHE have remained as the only cistern in the industry to have been awarded the greatly desired seal of approval.

According to a survey commissioned by Defra and Quiet House, 76% of the UK population feels that the quality of their home life is affected by noise, with this impacting on health factors such as sleep disruption. With GROHE’s advanced technology the Whisper® quiet water technology delivers peacefully quiet acoustics – just 21dB, compared with the average flush noise of 75 dB. Making those late-night toilet trips easier on the rest of the sleeping household.

Michael Gray, GROHE UK Product Manager, says “Our Rapid SL quiet systems ensure noise disturbances in the bathroom are kept to a minimum. The system is particularly useful for an en- suite- you can locate the WC where you want without worrying that it will disturb anyone”.
