Kitchen worktop specialist Max-Top has announced the addition of a new 1.5 metre length surface to its portfolio. It has also announced the launch of its unique quartz surface in Ireland. The product will be distributed there by The Panelling Centre, a leading supplier of kitchen and wardrobe components.
Max-Top says that the new size has been launched to deliver more accuracy for installers, and help prevent product waste through cut-offs. Stephen Moss, managing director of Max-Top Quartz, said: “Our range has proved incredibly successful with its existing product length of three metres, but we have recognised that smaller workspaces and corners may not require as much worktop surface.
“To combat waste and help reduce costs, the new length will be available to all retailers and suppliers from the start of June.”
Meanwhile, The Panelling Centre, which is part of the Grafton Group, will supply Max-Top’s patented surface to kitchen installers and retailers throughout Ireland from branches based in Dublin, County Dublin, Limerick, Galway and Cork.
“Ireland has been identified as a key market for Max-Top”, said Stephen Moss, “and since our launch in 2014 we have been eager to provide a reliable source of supply to installers across the country.”
Kevin Ward, The Panelling Centre group purchasing manager, said: “We tested Max-Top in the home of a prominent Dublin-based kitchen installer. He was really impressed by the simplicity, light weight and speed of installation. I was delighted with his feedback.
“Once I was satisfied the product would be of interest to kitchen installers I met with Max-Top in the UK to see the product and the ease of fabrication. We have organised a training day in Dublin and together with a sizeable order, we will now have stock ready for installers across Ireland.”
