National Tile Week returns for the second year running from 10-17 April 2017, with support from British Ceramic Tile.
Forming a crucial part of April’s designated ‘Home Improvement Month’, National Tile Week attempts to educate consumers about how to get creative with tiling in the hopes of increasing retailer’s Easter weekend sales.
Julia Kendell, renown for her work on DIY SOS and 60 Minute Makeover, will be launching the week by revealing some of the ways a homeowner can use tiles throughout their home.
Speaking about the upcoming week, Julia Kendell announced “National Tile Week is a great opportunity to focus on and celebrate tiles in all their colourful glory! It’s a great way to inspire creativity and illustrate the many ways they can be used around the home to create beautiful and unique interiors.”
A pop-up launch event will be taking place on Monday 10 April in Covent Garden, London, where Julia will be available for a Q&A. Further events will also be held throughout the week at British Ceramic Tile’s London HQ in Clerkenwell on Wednesday 12 April and at Ted Baker’s Floral Street store on Thursday 13 April.
