From Virtual Reality to a Candy Shop – Gorenje reveal exciting plans for IFA 2017

Kitchen appliance manufacturer, Gorenje, has revealed plans for the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, IFA 2017, involving a sound shower, Virtual Reality (VR) zip line ride, candy shop, photo booth and Ana – the Gorenje BOT.

Exhibiting on a 923 sqm stand, situated at Hall 1.1, booth 201, the Slovenia-headquartered firm will showcase a number of products, including cookers, hoods, refrigerators, ovens, hobs, dishwashers, washers, dryers and small domestic appliances. In addition, models from its design lines, including Retro, Ora Ito and Starck will also be on show. The main attraction of the stand, which Gorenje is sharing with sister brand Asko, will be its yet to be launched induction hob, washing/drying appliances and brand new built-in cooling models. Visitors to the stand will also be able to take a look at the Retro Special Edition refrigerator inspired by the infamous VW camper van and the next generation of Ora Ito lines.

Richard Mackey, the product manager at Gorenje UK, said: “IFA is one of the key dates in our diary and provides us with the opportunity to showcase new lines and everything the brand stands for. As a manufacturer of energy efficient, eye-catching products, the exhibition is the perfect place to demonstrate our design and production credentials and show what we’re made of, so we’re excited to see people’s reactions to our stand and getting feedback on the new products in the pipeline.”

Taking place at Berlin ExpoCentre City between 1st and 6th September 2017, IFA, the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, provides manufacturers with the opportunity to showcase their latest and greatest innovations.
