Victoria + Albert Baths appoints Edward Davies as CEO following the departure of Chris Davies

Victoria + Albert Baths has appointed Edward Davies (pictured) as its new CEO, following the departure of Chris Davies.

The company renown for its freestanding baths and basins stated it is “pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Davies as CEO of Victoria + Albert Baths, effective from 1st July 2017, following the news that Chris Davies will be stepping down.”

Edward Davies, Chris Davies’ nephew, has a decade of experience within the company, having previously held the position of commercial director for the past two years.

Commenting on his promotion, Edward remarked “I have worked closely with Chris over the last few years and I’m pleased to step into the role as CEO. We’ve seen stable growth in the company through somewhat turbulent times, and I’m confident that our strategy of moving into complementary products such as high-end furniture and brassware will support our core business of freestanding baths and basins.

“In the next few years we will focus on strengthening our retail positioning, and also further expand into the contract market, where we’re starting to see some exciting results.”

Chris Davies will now assume the role of executive chairman to “allow him to focus on the strategy behind the group, with a close involvement in all company decisions.”

Chris added “I look forward to working closely with Edward and the rest of the management team in the years ahead. Victoria + Albert Baths has been on an exciting journey and there is plenty more to come.”
