Twist and shake – Keller Kitchens’ new Cascada design gives shaker style a 21st century twist

Simple yet timelessly elegant, the shaker style has been a go-to trend for kitchen designs for years, but for those with a more contemporary palette, it can be tricky to find a scheme that is similarly timeless but still boasts a modern tone.

Fortunately, Keller Kitchens has answered our call with the Cascada kitchen, a dynamic design that blends the traditional elegance of shaker style cabinetry with a rich, modern flair.

Created by Keller Kitchens’ in-house design team, and manufactured in the company’s Dutch factory, the Cascada collection features carefully balanced proportions, a creative mix of materials and expertly crafted elements. Our definite favourite of the collection’s 22 finish options, the Cascada Graphite Fleetwood (featured), combines dark wood-look melamine doors, with an authentic raw finish that showcases the graining pattern and appears uncannily akin to natural wood.

Shown here in combination with Keller’s GL3000 range contemporary island unit – which features a fingerprint-resistant Ultra Matt door, in an Anthracite colourway, and a matching handle trim – the combination of the silky-smooth island with the raw, textural cabinetry crafts an overarching rough luxe look and the sought-after timeless appeal.
