Tile Mountain has officially opened its new £10m purpose-built head office and distribution centre in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
The company’s ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted by Peter Coates, chairman of Stoke City Football Club, and saw over 80 guests attend in celebration of the new centre.
The new premises is located within a previously derelict five acre site and comprises a warehouse and office block of 109,000 sq ft, 7,500 sq ft showroom and 2,000 sq ft mezzanine. In addition, the new site will also provide 70 jobs to the local community over the next three years.
Commenting on the recent opening, managing director, Jeremy Harris stated “This is a momentous occasion in the history of the firm and the opening of this new, state of the art, facility is a statement of our ambitions as a company. The phenomenal growth Tile Mountain has experienced since its inception saw it quickly outgrow the old site, meaning that a new distribution hub and administrative nerve centre was required.”
