Sub-Zero & Wolf recently held a summer afternoon and evening event, at its Maldon showroom, celebrating the best of local food and leisure that Essex has to offer.
Sub-Zero & Wolf’s Resident Chef Bruce, seen here in action, cooked up a storm on Wolf appliances throughout the event, using ingredients from the local producers who took part. Guests enjoyed freshly baked scones with Tiptree jam, Margaritas with Maldon Sea Salt, KellyBronze turkey canapés, plus Maldon Oysters and Southminster Asparagus.
With wines from New Hall Vineyard and ale from the Maldon Brewing Company, along with Tiptree Fruit Gin cocktails, the guests were able to experience the very best of Essex produce. JD Classics displayed some of their classic race cars including an rare E Type Jaguar, Aston Martin and Ferrari.
A handmade, bespoke pantry created especially for the event by Davonport Interiors, took centre stage of the showroom and delighted the guests with its detail and craftsmanship. Floral arrangements by Dedham Vale based English Country Roses, created a beautiful, scented display, while Wildwing Honey’s observational bee hive and honey tasting, fascinated the guests.
There was even a 26ft yacht from Wallasea Island based Boats.co.uk gracing the showroom’s outside space, to help celebrate this great county’s produce, people and pastimes.
The event also helped to raise much needed funds for Haven House Children’s Hospice with a raffle which included prizes donated by the local producers.
