We speak to Managing Director, David Osborne, about Roman’s retailer support

Easy access to all the information is key for Roman in helping to ensure that their retailers hit the ground running with customers…

“The Internet is nearly always the first point of contact for most people so they can do some research before they purchase or visit the showroom,” says David Osborne, Managing Director of Roman. “So, we ensure our key features are flagged up on our website; style, provenance, capability, guarantee and being British made.

“We display many lifestyle images on our website to show people
what our products look like in a real bathroom situation. We highlight all our USPs including Ultra Care glass protection and product details. The Roman website has a showroom locator, so the user types in their postcode and a list of the nearest displaying showrooms become available. By the time people get to the showroom they should have a good knowledge of Roman and what product they are looking for. In the showroom all Roman displays are installed by Roman’s fitters so they are working perfectly. We display our own POS and back wall brand labelling highlighting key product detail and that all our products are made in Britain – we aim to engage the retailer to carry on the brand story with the customer.”
