Siemens Home Appliances takes home nine trophies from the iF Design Awards 2018

At the iF Design Awards 2018, Siemens Home Appliances has won nine awards for products in its premium studioLine ranges, alongside the iQ700 and iQ500 ranges.

The Siemens studioLine appliances were commended by the judges for their design, innovation, and intelligent features. In particular, the brushed blackSteel and deepBlack door glass complemented the intuitive lightControl feature – blue light which illuminates every selected heating symbol when the appliance is on.

The iF Design Awards jury specifically mentioned the iQ700 and iQ500 product lines’ sophisticated design and innovative technology. The distinctive glass fronts of the single and double ovens allow them to be seamlessly combined with one another, and they are also enhanced by lightControl technology.

Gerhard Nüssler, head of global design for Siemens Home Appliances says, “When we innovate, it’s not just about functionality. Our home appliances unite intelligent, cutting-edge technologies and a unique, architectural design that uses premium materials to create clear and straight-lined aesthetics. We are honoured to see nine products recognised by the iF Design Awards; it’s a validation of our modern, yet lasting design strategy.”
