Sebastian Conran gives his Aveo bathroom range for Villeroy & Boch a fresh new look

Ten years on from its launch, Sebastian Conran gives his Aveo bathroom range for Villeroy & Boch a fresh new look…

Following the success of Villeroy & Boch’s Aveo collection launched a decade ago, Sebastian Conran, designer of the range, has updated the collection with a more contemporary look. Called Aveo New Generation, the collection features sleeker sanitaryware, new furniture and updated storage.

The distinct oval form of the sanitaryware has been retained and modernised. The basin has been reduced in height whilst retaining a large bowl size. The three toilets in the range have been updated with thinner, contoured seats, combined with soft closing and quick release functions for an enhanced user-friendly experience, and the wall-mounted toilet has been equipped with Villeroy & Boch’s new SupraFix 2.0 mounting system for easier installation.

Taking inspiration from the sanitaryware designs, Conran has created a new furniture range that incorporates curved fronts and handleless cabinetry which are intended to mirror the sleek lines of the Aveo range.

The furniture has been created with family use in mind, featuring divided storage that is compact and space efficient. It is available in Pure Oak or Dark Oak wood finishes or a more modern Glossy White option.

Completing the collection is the iconic egg-shaped bath that in 2003 was the first organic shaped bath of its kind. New to this year’s version, the bath has been created in one piece, with its oval form appearing seamless with a rimless design. It is crafted using the manufacturer’s Quaryl quartz sand and acrylic material.
