Roman hosts first ‘Made in Britain marketing4manufacturers’ workshop

Leading international shower designer and manufacturer, Roman, has hosted the first ‘Made in Britain marketing4manufacturers’ workshop.

Created to help members make the most of their ‘Made in Britain’ membership, the workshop took place on 12 April 2017 at the company’s North-East England Headquarters.

The first of the three half-day session series, hosted by Roman, focused on advising members on how best to apply the Made in Britain mark and included seminars on effective social media use.

In addition to the talks given by the organisation’s partners, the workshop also saw the department for international trade and Lloyds Bank manufacturing presenting expert guidance on sales, exports, and the latest marketing tools.

Commenting on his time at the workshop, Dave Forster of Propipe remarked “It has been a very insightful day at the Made in Britain workshop, and it is great to meet like-minded manufacturers.”

David Osborne, managing director of Roman, added “It was a pleasure to be involved with the first Made in Britain event. The organisation’s aims and values have never been more important in our post-Brexit climate.”
