Roca transforms an outdated 60s home in Channel 4’s ‘Ugly House to Lovely House’

Bathroom specialist, Roca, teamed up with George Clarke and the crew of Channel 4’s ‘Ugly House to Lovely House’ to help transform a tired and outdated 60’s dwelling into a chic home, for owners Wendy and Allan.

This episode focussed on the renovation of Wendy and Allan’s Colchester home, for which they selected a number of stylish Roca products for the family bathroom and ensuite, including popular ‘The Gap’ range.

“We want to use Roca because of the variety within its product collection,” said Wendy. “We could pick and choose products from the different ranges to get the exact modular style we wanted. We now have clean and bright bathroom spaces with plenty of storage, which is perfect for our family.”

Using the imaginative design created by award-winning architect Chris Dyson, the home was transformed into an open plan space, with high ceilings and masses of natural light. This bright, open plan aesthetic is carried through into the bathroom space, which boasts a fully white Roca The Gap suite, alongside an Even-T thermostatic shower column and Vythos bath. The finished project is bright, airy and superbly chic – ideal for their family of four to enjoy.
