Renowned kitchen appliance manufacturer Hoover Candy Group has announced the establishment of its North of Europe commercial region. Successfully broadening the commercial horizons of the company will aim to support the continual growth in this area.
Since its birth 100 years ago, Hoover has concentrated on its ambition of standing as the ‘supplier of choice in the UK’, and by focusing on the three areas of: product leadership, operational excellence and customer intimacy, aims to achieve this.
With this mass development came further changes, including the promotion of David Meyerowitz (featured), former COO, to the position of UK Chief Executive Officer. Meyerowitz will now assume the responsibilities of predecessor Gianfranco Palma, who will in turn receive a senior position within the Candy Group headquarters.
Meyerowitz commented: “The Hoover Candy Group is an award-winning, forward-thinking business which is at a pivotal time.
“Since the launch of our Hoover Wizard family of WiFi products in June 2015, we’ve made it our mission to lead the way in connected appliances and there are some exciting lines coming out later this year which will incorporate a number of new technologies and innovative features. In addition, we will be investing in an above the line campaign to demonstrate our commitment to the market.
