The UK’s leading kitchen, bedroom and bathroom furniture manufacturers Moores has been featured on Channel 4’s Big House, Little House, renovation programme presented by interior designer Aidan Kean.
The program showcases how families tackle home projects across different price points and budgets. The Moores kitchen was chosen by Saul and Amanda for their ‘little house’ project in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, just a stone’s throw from the Moores headquarters. The renovating couple are child minders and therefore durability was high on their list of must-haves for a new kitchen. Their neighbours recommended a Moores kitchen after having one themselves for many years. They praised its high quality and design, plus the added benefit of a locally sourced offering. Saul and Amanda moved into their house in April 2016, and desperately needed to renovate their existing 1980s style kitchen which only had one set of units and a worktop. Their vision was an open plan kitchen and dining room with a retro theme, which Moores was happy to help them bring to life.
Saul and Amanda opted for the Moores Elba Driftwood and Breeze kitchen, which combines high build-quality with a glossy neutral design, perfect for teaming with a retro décor. The kitchen is designed to incorporate built-in appliances, helping to save on floor space and optimise the workflow area. The kitchen also maximises storage with clever corner units, large under counter drawers and overhead space to help cater for lots of people.
Daniel Sawyer, Moores at Home & Minor Works Manager comments: “We are delighted that Saul and Amanda chose one of our kitchens for their makeover. We’re confident that the extra storage space and sleek design will benefit their busy lifestyles, once again reinstating the kitchen as the hub of the home. At Moores, we are committed to providing quality kitchens across all price points and have been proudly doing so for the past 70 years.”Moores | moores.co.uk
