Airing on 1st February, 9pm, the BBC One show featured the Worcestershire based family getting a much-needed interior makeover to improve the life of 17-year-old Antonia.
Diagnosed with a rare condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, caused by a lack of collagen, Antonia has been in hospital for over 12 months, unable to return home until the necessary adaptations has taken place.
Therefore, DIY SOS teamed up with worktop specialist Maxtop to provide the family the kitchen of their dreams.
Speaking on behalf of the company Stephen Moss, managing director of Maxtop, remarked “We were delighted to be able to work with DIY SOS as it is a fantastic show that makes a huge difference to families across the UK.”
