The Kitchen Education Trust announces it will work with FIESTA to ‘advance skills and training’

“The Kitchen Education Trust (TKET) represented by Chairman Craig Matson (pictured) and Johnny Grey, Visiting Professor FDA Kitchen Design Degree course at Buckinghamshire New University, gave a presentation to representatives from KBB NTG, KBSA, The Furniture Makers Company and the British Furniture Manufacturers Association, among others.”

Acting Kbsa CEO and Consultant Uwe Hanneck has stated “We are delighted to be part of this important initiative. We have developed a deep and special relationship with TKET and are working with them to help realise our aim of better education and training for our industry.”

TKET added “FIESTA will be employer-led and will provide a forum for all parties to get involved with, discuss and participate in issues relating to education, training and skills for all ages and size of businesses.

“The aim is to avoid duplication of resources and facilitate access to high quality education and skills training as well as trying to simplify the process in order for the industry to best make use of the new government initiative on apprenticeships.”
