To offer the best prices and services, one of the most successful buying and marketing communities for owner-managed kitchen retailers, MHK Group AG, has now become active in Great Britain.
Behind this expansion is new Sales Director, Paul Wheeler (featured, left), who joined MHK UK on February 1st. An experienced industry expert, he has been part of the kitchen industry for the past 11 years and worked for 12 months as Regional Director and subsequently Managing Director of Alno USA. Most recently, he was a consultant for franchise kitchen systems in the UK.
“Our goal is to strengthen the performance of specialist shops and to increase their return on investment,” stresses MHK-expansion Managing Director Marcel Crezee (featured, right). Among other things, the MHK Group, as a powerful partner for trade and industry, ensures that its partners can buy first-class products at the best prices. This is achieved through conditions of joint purchase, which cannot be achieved by individual specialists.
The importance of buying groups in this day and age is also demonstrated by statistics: around 80% of European traders are now organised into buying groups, as it is becoming increasingly difficult for solo entities to compete with wholesalers.
In addition to the first-class purchasing conditions, the MHK Group supports its members with an extensive range of services related to marketing, the internet, and business management. The offer ensures that owner-managed specialist dealers in the market can operate successfully at a sustainable, above-average level. “We are convinced that we can provide important support to companies in the UK and ensure that returns increase,” said Marcel Crezee.
Industry visitors can get a feel for the group’s performance and services at the KBB Birmingham, the largest kitchen, bedroom and bathroom exhibition in Great Britain, which the MHK Group is attending for the first time.
