Burbidge has invested £300K into brand new machinery, in order to “increase its output of painted designs.”
The leading manufacturer commissioned the investment within its Coventry based factory in Awson Street where it produces all the brand’s timber ranges.
While already specialising in bespoke services, all of these products have been previously hand-painted; however, with the company’s new mechanical investment now up and running, Burbidge will soon be able to increase its production of small painted product batches and simultaneously keep its renown high-quality finish.
The company has also stated the new machinery will “free up more time for Burbidge paint technicians to expand their current skills and apply their expertise to other areas of the business, helping to increase manufacturing capabilities for future production.”
Commenting on the new mechanical addition, managing director, Ben Burbidge stated “This investment in new machinery for our painted ranges and new product developments is significant and, in our 150th year, will mark a new era for the business as we work hard to meet customer demand and a changing landscape in the world of interiors.”Burbidge | burbidge.co.uk
