Kitchen appliance brand InSinkErator gains WRAS approval for steaming hot water taps

InSinkErator’s 3N1 steaming hot water taps have gained approval from the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS).

Coming as a massive boost to the company, InSinkErator can now confirm their 3N1 range complies entirely with the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and the Scottish Byelaws. These regulatory approvals consequently mean the fitting will officially not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contaminate the water supply, and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard’.

Through achieving WRAS approval, the complete range of 3N1 hot water taps can now also meet the necessary regulations of the national water suppliers and be installed into new-build homes.

Commenting on the new approval, InSinkErator’s marketing manager to Europe and Russia, Denise Lordache remarked “We are delighted to receive the approval from the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme for our complete range of 3N1 steaming hot water taps, hot water tank and filter unit. The safety of our customers and commitment to reducing waste water in the home will continue to be a priority for InSinkErator.”
