Indesit introduces four real families in the latest installment of its #DoItTogether campaign

As part of Indesit’s #DoItTogether campaign, the brand is set to introduce consumers to four real families in ‘The Big Family Switch Up’ web series.

Presented by Giovanna Fletcher, international vlogger, presenter and wife to McFly band member Tom Fletcher, the new series will take a light-hearted approach towards the serious social challenges surrounding domesticity.

The new series is set to appear on Indesit’s own online channel on 9 May 2017 and will feature a number of real families that have accepted the challenge to swap their normal household chores for a week. During the course of the experiment, viewers will get the chance to see how the distribution of chores impacts the family and, moreover, how it improves their quality time together.

Commenting on the new show, presenter Giovanna stated “This brilliantly simple concept really made me take a look at my own life and I think that’s part of the appeal. By saying some jobs are for men or for women we all get stick living in ways that aren’t necessarily what we’d choose or most enjoy.”

The first two families taking to the screen are the Johnsons and the Mansfields. But with Roy and Michelle Johnson leading a rather ‘traditional’ take on family life, the new chore swap is sure to generate some surprising and controversial results!
