Impey announce upcoming wetroom training dates for 2017 at ‘We Are Wetrooms’

Wetroom specialists Impey has announced 11 training dates for 2017 following what it says was a sell-out 2016 ‘We Are Wetrooms’ UK tour.

Growth of the wetrooms sector across domestic, commercial and healthcare markets is set to continue into 2017 says Impey, and now, more than ever before, installers need to ensure they are fully confident in wetroom fitting to take advantage of any new-business opportunities.

In 2016, Impey identified the need for informative ‘hands-on’ wetroom installation training and decided to take its training programme on the road. After what Impey says was a year of sell-out dates, a hugely positive response from attendees and unrelenting demand for more dates throughout 2017, Impey has announced the ‘We are Wetrooms’ Training Tour dates for the new year.

The ‘We are Wetrooms’ tour 2017, which kicks off in March, incorporates extensive training on all Impey’s wetroom solutions, including: the AquaDec EasyFit floor former; the AquaDec Linear floor former; patented floor formers designed with the installer in mind; the Waterguard tanking solution; and the AquaGrade and AquaGrade Linear screed templates for new-pour concrete floors.

The schedule for the day includes the following areas: wetroom installation and floor formers; wetroom installation into a wooden or concrete floor, how to achieve the correct wetroom gradient; effective drainage; leak-free water proofing and how to correctly tile on a floor former or wetroom tray

A precisely tailored programme and small group sizes ensure that there is plenty of opportunity for all attendees to interact in the ‘hands on’ demonstrations and participate in one to one Q&As with the Impey training team, led by technical manager, Shaun Hunt.

The ‘We are Wetrooms’ tour visits eleven easy-access sporting venues, giving installers across the UK the opportunity to learn essential wetroom fitting skills at a convenient location. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes circa 3pm.

With a maximum of 25 places available on each day, interested installers should contact the Impey Training Centre as soon as possible to secure a place on one of the 2017 courses. There is a one-off registration fee of £15 to secure a place on the Impey ‘We are Wetrooms’ training tour.
