A large-capacity dishwasher and induction hob from kitchen appliance manufacturer, Gorenje, has been awarded a Which? Best Buy status.
The GV66260UK fully-integrated dishwasher achieved five stars for cleaning and drying plates & cutlery and 4/5 for energy and water use on the main programme. Boasting 16 place settings, the A+++ rated dishwasher has three baskets and offers a wealth of technology and features, including a 15-minute speed wash, adjustable baskets and TotalDry, automatic door opening which uses less energy and encourages quicker drying. With five programmes and five washing temperatures, the dishwasher’s water consumption is an impressive 9.5l and it operates at just 45 dB(A) – similar to the volume of a conversation at home. The Which? review, undertaken in June 2017, states: “If you’re looking for 16 place settings then you won’t find much better”. The IS756ST hob, from the Gorenje by Stark collection, achieved five stars for speed, simmering and ease of cleaning, the product also got 4/5 for ease of use. With four heating zones, the hob has a number of features including PowerBoost Supreme, which can boil 2l of water in just 4.2 minutes, XpandZone which allows cooking on almost the entire surface and StayWarm function to keep food at a constant temperature of 70˚C.
Richard Mackey, product manager at Gorenje UK, said: “Which? is a consumer bible, so to have received Which? Best Buy status for two of our models is a great achievement. We pride ourselves on producing high-quality products with innovation, technology and great service, so are really pleased to have been recognised in this way. We understand that buying appliances is a big investment for people and are often as replacements, therefore it’s important for people to make sure they get one that’s right for them, so reputable sources like Which? are a great place to get advice.”
A Which? spokesperson clarified the impact of the scheme: “Seven in 10 consumers say that a Which? Best Buy logo is likely to positively influence their decision on what product to buy. A third of consumers say they are likely to increase their budget to buy a Which? endorsed product or service.”
