Leading manufacturer of major home appliances, Whirlpool, has been chosen by Gordon Ramsay to provide six cooking appliances for his brand new cookery show, ‘Culinary Genius’.
Hosted by Fern Britton, the new series will see nine amateur cooks go head-to-head in a culinary battle with a different professional chef demonstrating the cooks’ two challenges each week.
Whirlpool has provided the cookery show with three built-in single ovens (AKZM 6550/IXL) and three built-in 60 cm gas hobs (GMF 6422/IXL) from the company’s Fusion Collection. Given the oven’s innovative technology, such as the Ready2Cook heating mode which removes the need for pre-heating, it’s no wonder why Whirlpool were chosen as the appliance provider for this high-pressured environment.
Phil Vickery, Rosemary Shrager and Jean-Christophe Novelli will join Gordon Ramsay in the new competitive cookery show – with Ramsay being the first to take to the floor on the look-out for speedy and accurate cooking skills.
Speaking about the new television appearance, brand communications director, Ian Moverley stated “The rise and popularity of TV cookery programmes is tremendous at the moment and it is great to see the Whirlpool fusion range put through its paces by such a well-known professional chef.”Whirlpool | whirlpool.co.uk
