High flying kitchen furniture manufacturer Crown Imperial were one of the sponsors at the recent Herne Bay Air Show on Sunday the 14th August.
The skies above the seaside resort in Kent were transformed with daring flying displays and Crown Imperial chose the iconic Lancaster Bomber to celebrate its British design and heritage spanning over 70 years.
Barry Head, managing director at Crown Imperial spoke of the event “It seemed a fitting tribute to mark our 70th anniversary and support a local community event. The flypast approached from the East past Reculver Towers where the bouncing bombs were originally tested before their use in the Dambuster raids, accompanied by both a Spitfire and Hurricane of the Battle of Britain Memorial flight.
“Several fly passes were made in front of the thousands of spectators on Herne Bay sea front to the delight of the crowd and the Crown team – a great day had by all.”
