Esse, the UK’s oldest stove and range cooker manufacturer has received another patent for its revolutionary cooking technology. The Surround Heat system means that within the company’s newer models, elements will surround each oven to provide a completely even temperature throughout, equating to a more even cooking method.
The new electric 990 EL model (shown here) features a dual hotplate, full width grill and two independently controlled ovens, alongside a warming oven – perfect for slow cooking. Alongside this, the range cooker boasts an adjustable vent to control the amount of moisture within the oven, and of course, the new Surround Heat system.
Mary Blewitt, Esse’s Sales Director, explains the impact this will have on customers: “Our surround heat system means that the elements in our electric ovens offer the same radiant heat as our solid fuel, oil, wood-burning and gas models. Temperatures are consistent throughout the space, which means you don’t need to turn dishes or swap shelves during cooking, and you can even place dishes directly on the base of the oven to cook.”Esse | esse.com
