Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards Shortlist: Take a look at who made the grade…

Pro Publishing Media & Events, organisers of the Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards, has confirmed the designer finalists of this year’s edition of the industry’s leading awards event for kitchen and/or bathroom designers and their suppliers.

Martin Allen-Smith, editor of Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Magazine and chair of the judging panel made up of experts on kitchen and bathroom design, said: “The standard of entries for the Designer awards gets better every year and our experts really had their work cut out to pick the finalists, let alone the eventual winner of each category.

“We had more entries this year than ever before as well, and in the majority of cases the difference between being selected as a finalist or not came down to one or two small points of detail that gave our eventual shortlist the edge.”

Clara Perry, managing director of Pro Publishing added: “Martin and his team of judges have done an amazing job this year and my congratulations go to them and to everyone who entered the Designer Awards. Not only is each and every finalist a winner as far as I am concerned, but so is the industry as a whole that has such a wealth of design talent.

“Every entry is judged ‘blind’; the judges do not know who has entered any of the categories, each of which is therefore judged on the merits of the design itself, rather than past reputation or any commercial pressures.

“The Designer Awards is a ‘window’ on the kitchen and bathroom industry and we are proud to provide the only industry-wide platform that is one hundred percent focussed on showcasing the skills and expertise of its designers.”

The Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards Gala Luncheon and Presentation Ceremony will take place on 9 November at Supernova London.
