Curve Craft branches out with new made-to-order cabinetry and furniture division

A year on from its move to an all new manufacturing base, in Ripley, Derbyshire, Curve Craft has announced it will be launching made-to-order cabinetry and furniture to complement its curved door and curved component offering. The B2B service which Curve Craft markets as ‘an extension of its clients manufacturing service’ – will see Curve Craft produce to each manufacturer’s individual specifications.

Speaking of the news, Paul Murray, Curve Craft’s Founder and Managing Director said, “We have been producing cabinetry and full furniture commissions for our manufacturing and high end studio client base for some considerable time. However, it hasn’t been something that we felt we could widely publicise until we were certain we had the right amount of production capacity and infrastructure in place. With our move to bigger, centrally located, premises just over a year ago in conjunction  with  additional investment in equipment and high quality staff, we are now perfectly placed to handle whatever our clients demand from us.”

James Hill, Curve Crafts Production Manager added, “The fact is, if you can make arguably the hardest part of any furniture commission – the curved doors and curved accessories with the levels of quality, accuracy and durability that we offer, our clients can have complete peace of mind in entrusting us with additional requirements. It’s an ideal service for our clients that suddenly find themselves up against it with production or staff issues since we can produce to their exact specification and to a realistic price that allows for healthy margin. The other advantage is that we can produce curved cabinetry in tune with curved door requirements to ensure an optimum fit and finish.”

The flexibility of Curve Craft’s service extends beyond specifications and materials, right through to design. Hill continued “Whilst much of what we do is in-frame, we also produce lay-on and slab door designs of an altogether more contemporary / modern nature using a wide range of finishes to include the more unusual veneers. This makes us the perfect supply partner for the professional designer looking for a company to translate ideas of a more cutting edge nature, whilst our multi-room capability enables them to work with Curve Craft to create a design flow throughout a property.”
