A Cumbrian company travelled to London to showcase its products to some of the capital’s architects and designers.
KUDOS, which creates luxury glass wetrooms and showering enclosures, is based in Holme on the edge of the Lake District. The company launched a fortnight-long pop-up showroom in the heart of London’s Clerkenwell district – home to scores of architectural and interior design specialists.
And the event didn’t just exhibit KUDOS’ designs – it also promoted the Lake District landscape through the company’s new branding featuring real Cumbrian backdrops.
The private view was aimed at architects and designers who specialise in high-end interior design for both corporate settings, such as boutique hotels, as well as private homes.
The pop-up demonstrated KUDOS’ unique designs, made at the company’s Cumbrian factory. Its range includes wetroom systems, shower enclosures and panels, and walk-in designs, as well as bathscreens and shower trays.
KUDOS has been designing and manufacturing its products in Cumbria since 1999 and all its products come with a lifetime guarantee.
David Gannon, KUDOS’ sales and marketing director, said: “This was our first showcase in London and one that I hope we can repeat. We chose Clerkenwell specifically because it is home to so many world-class architects and interior designers. The feedback from those who came to the private view or who met members of our team one-to-one was just brilliant.
“Some of these designers had already been using KUDOS designs, while others found us for the first time. Either way, the pop-up showroom reinforced KUDOS as an award-winning leader in this field.
“We are really proud of the products we create – no compromise is made and our skilled team has complete control throughout the entire manufacturing process. We think the difference is in the detail, and the fact we can create bespoke shower solutions in almost any setting, never compromising on quality.”
