Caple introduces new Flexi-zone induction cooker designed for the aspiring professional

Caple’s new frameless, black C856i Flexi induction hob has been designed to provide a sleek, professional touch to any kitchen, says the company.

Replacing the C855i, this new model has four induction zones and four boosters, which feature multi-split zones that allow up to four pans to be placed anywhere within the zones.

In addition, the C856i provides the option to combine the four zones into two larger areas, making it ideal for those who regularly cook with oversized pans such as fish kettles.

The hob is operated by slider touch controls and features a nine-level digital power display for each zone. It also benefits from a programmable timer of up to 99 minutes that allows the user to set finishing time for each individual zone.

A host of safety features make the C856i suitable for the whole family to use. Residual heat indicators will let you know if the surface is still hot after cooking, while the anti-overheat feature stops the hob from getting too hot and automatic safety shut-off ensures the appliance doesn’t remain on accidentally.

Other handy functions include a safety lock, pause and automatic pan detection, which helps prevent the hob being activated by unsuitable items.

Caple managing director Danny Lay said: “Our new C856i Flexi induction hob provides a really flexible cooking solution and makes it easier to tailor your hob to meet your needs on a meal-by-meal basis.”

The C856i induction hob measures 590mmW by 520mmD by 60mmH and costs from around £644 including VAT.
