Burbidge is set to mark their 149th anniversary with launch of timer range ‘Simply Burbidge’

Burbidge is preparing to mark a new milestone in its 149-year history with the launch of an entry level timber range – Simply Burbidge.

The Simply Burbidge collection brings together the design, craftsmanship and quality Burbidge is so renowned for at a more cost-effective price, while also being available in stock.

Ben Burbidge, managing director at Burbidge, said: “We recognise that the KBB market is changing in line with the wider retail dynamic. In this way, while there’ll always be a strong demand for high-end, premium kitchen design, there is also an escalating amount of business where value for money is the primary driver.

“As such, we’ve designed our new Simply Burbidge range in a bid to support retailers by enabling them to fulfil the needs of customers seeking the height of current design within a smaller budget. By manufacturing our doors and accessories for stock we’ve been able to take advantage of mass volumes in order to make cost reductions in the process; which we’re passing on to make these truly price-compelling ranges.”

“More so, due to our extensive manufacturing capabilities, we are in the unique position of being able to provide primed doors in just five days and special sizes in just10 working days, in addition to having the core ranges in full stock. With consumers increasingly seeking a fast turnaround, we believe this is yet another reason why our Simply Burbidge range has all the ingredients of ‘the next big thing’.”

To begin with, the Simply Burbidge range has three painted timber ranges available from stock in three of Burbidge’s most popular paint colours; Putty, Alabaster and Soft Grey.

The first, Kew, is already a well-established and popular Burbidge range, which combines a modern interpretation of the traditional Shaker form with a painted finish. In addition, the newly launched Barnes follows the iconic styling of Shaker, with a simple, pared-down look, while the new Finsbury (seen here in Putty), is classically styled with a beaded frame detailing.

As well as the stocked colours of Alabaster, Putty and Soft Grey, each range is available in Burbidge’s other 22 painted finishes and Bespoke Painted service on a ‘made to order’ basis.

Each range is available via Burbidge’s bespoke sizes service which can be turned around in just 10 days.
