Bucks New University’s Kitchen Design Degree gets a thumbs up from sponsors & students

The Kitchen Design Foundation Degree course at Buckinghamshire New University has been given a seal of approval from both sponsors and students.

Soon to enter its fourth year of teaching, the renowned Kitchen Design degree has now experienced three cohorts passing through its course and is starting to receive fantastic feedback from both sponsors and students.

Speaking on behalf of Egger, the student co-sponsor and member of the Kitchen Education Trust,  head of marketing Nick McClughin remarked “Egger wanted to show its support for our industry. We wanted to put something back, and as part of our involvement, early on I gave a trend based talk to the students. We firmly believe that the overall idea of improving levels of competence in the industry is a good think.”

Egger’s co-sponsored student, Scott Lashbrook from Optiplan Kitchens, added “The course has opened my eyes into how kitchens are changing, both how we see them as a space within the home and how we utilise their features. I recommend the course to anyone who is looking to build their future in the industry.”
