Bathroom and kitchen brassware specialists GROHE held a two-day training event on -site at its HQ in Dusseldorf, Germany in September, inviting 60 members of the UK team to fly out.
The comprised a tour of the brand’s headquarters, as well as its distribution centre and factory based in nearby Hemer. The team saw first-hand the scale of the full product production process, from the quality and build through to distribution. The UK team met and listened to a presentation from Michael Rauterkus, CEO of GROHE AG, on new product launches, the brand and potential growth followed by an open Q&A forum where all employees had the chance to ask questions.
In Dusseldorf, the design team and all of the category heads also presented on upcoming product launches, such as the Sensia Arena shower toilet and Blue Home water system.

Such trips are a great way to encourage team spirit, providing an opportunity for the team to spend quality time with office and field based colleagues and cross-networking with their fellow colleagues in Germany.
