Amica moves numerous divisions to Nottinghamshire following CDA acquisition

Following Amica’s acquisition of CDA in December 2015, the Amica UK business has been successfully transferred to CDA’s facility in Langar, Nottinghamshire.

Amica sales, marketing, and customer service operations, along with the UK’s stock holding, have been relocated. David Vincent remains as the national account manager and is joined by Steve Stroud, formerly of Samsung and then Viking Appliances, as the national account manager for distribution. Amica and CDA marketing will be headed by Steve Corbett.

“Acquiring CDA delivered some palpable economies of scale for Amica and provides the perfect infrastructure from which to develop and grow the brand,” said managing director Simon Emmons. “Amica customers have been reassured by the speedy unification and are very excited about the new opportunities in this next evolutionary stage for the brand.

“In the next few months we will be announcing new products, compelling promotions, launching a brand-new brochure and opening the brand new Amica head office showroom.”
